Transport Planning

The Transport Planning Division was functioning as Transportation planning & Environment Division till March 2012. From April 2012 it was made a separate entity with an aim to promote R & D and consultancy in the area of Transport Planning, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Transportation Economics.  The major objectives are to introduce new innovative approaches in the above areas for sustainable road development and evolving policies for sustainable transportation planning at urban centers.
