Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) :The division provides technical inputs by way of design, development, fabrication, repair and maintenance jobs relating to special equipment required by R & D Divisions including transport vehicles which are fitted with R & D devices ( Instrumented Vehicles ). It has a variety of heavy and light machinery as well as highly skilled and dedicated staff for executing these jobs.
Vehicular requirements of both R & D as well as infrastructural groups including Administration are also taken care of by this group. Some of the staff are taking an active part in R&D projects requiring Mechanical Engineering inputs. These inputs are vital to a number of R&D divisions. |
