The activities of MIN group are listed as under:
» MIU is actively contributing to the Office Automation regularly by developing new programs.
» CSIR programs are comfortably running in various sections with the direct assistance from MIU . Staff, Salary, Accounting, Infrastructures, Maintenance of Management databases.
» Further development of automation is being done where it is needed particularly for Stores and Purchase Section.
» MIU has been entrusted the job of Form Management, development of general use forms and put them on the LAN.
» MIU is frequently providing data, charts etc for various documentation, top managerial information and annual reports etc.
» Organizing training programs for the administrative staff.
» Handling misc computer processing jobs like Telephone directory, Recruitment & Assessment, Staff Quarters, CGHS and assigned duties by the DRRI.

Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) :The division provides technical inputs by way of design, development, fabrication, repair and maintenance jobs relating to special equipment required by R & D Divisions including transport vehicles which are fitted with R & D devices ( Instrumented Vehicles ). It has a variety of heavy and light machinery as well as highly skilled and dedicated staff for executing these jobs. Vehicular requirements of both R & D as well as infrastructural groups including Administration are also taken care of by this group. Some of the staff are taking an active part in R&D projects requiring Mechanical Engineering inputs. These inputs are vital to a number of R&D divisions.
