2.6 CAG & PAC paras [F No. 1/6/2011- IR dt. 15.4.2013] :

 

CAG and PAC paras and the action taken reports (ATRs) after these have been laid on the table of both houses of the parliament.

As per the Audit Inspection Report of Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi for the period 01 April 2016 to 31 March 2021, under Section A (Major Irregularities)

  • 02 No Paras and under Section B (Other irregulates)
  • 15 No Paras are lying pending
  • Whereas out of 11 paras which were lying pending for settlement upto 2014-16
  • Only 04 No Paras are now lying outstanding and
  • 07 paras have been settled.
    The replies to all the outstanding Paras (total 21Nos paras) have been sent to the office of the Director General of Audit, Environment & Scientific Departments, A.G.C.R. Building, I.P . Estate, New Delhi-110002 Vide letter No. 2(9)/Finance/CAG/2022-23dated 03.03.2023 for settlement of the paras.
    Further, CAG Audit in r/o CSIR-CRRI for the period 01.04.2021 to 31.03.2024 has not been conducted yet.
