Presentation Guidelines

Guidelines for Oral Presentation

  • Each Key note presentation will be of 30 minutes (approx.).  
  • Each paper presenter will get 12 minutes for the Presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and answers. The presentation should fit the time frame to avoid time overrun. The session chair will moderate the session and follow his/her instructions.
  • The slides should not be complex or over-crowded. They should contain only clear pictures / photos. Avoid using blurred images in the presentation. For 12 minutes presentation, 12-15 slides may be adequate.
  • Use standard fonts (such as New Times Roman, Arial, etc.) for preparing your presentation with suitable font size, colour and contrast to make it readable from the back of the room.
  • Keep your presentation file name as your full paper id. (Eg., 3065.pptx, 3322.pptx,)
  • The session rooms will be equipped with a LCD projector, screen, laptop computer (with Microsoft PowerPoint) and microphones.
  • You are advised to visit the presentation room half an hour before the start of the Technical Session to load and check your presentation.
  • Further, as a backup, please bring your presentation in power point as well as a ‘pdf’ version for ICOPAC-2018 session in a Windows readable USB Flash Drive.

Guidelines for Poster Presentation

  • Each presenter of the paper must bring a printed poster. On-site printing service is NOT available.
  • Poster session will be of one hour duration.
  • The space available for poster presentation is 2 ft (vertical) and 3 ft (horizontal). A poster of A1 size can easily fit. Cello-tape or pins will be provided to paste the poster.
  • We advise you to make a simple and good design of the poster. You are free to choose your own template and design accordingly.
  • Several poster templates are available online. Online sites like provide some templates.
  • Presenters are responsible for promptly removing the poster at the end of the session or they will be trashed.
