Invitation to Submit Expression of Interest (EOI) for Licensing of “Portable Light and Glare Measurement System” Developed by CSIR-CRRI

CSIR-Central Road Research Institute invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from eligible and experienced Indian firms for the licensing and large-scale commercialization of the innovative “Portable Light and Glare Measurement System”. This portable and handy system provides real-time light measurement and recording solutions for various industries. The device is designed to provide accurate and reliable measurements for various applications in roads and highways, illumination audit, transportation, industrial, scientific, research, city infrastructure, etc.

About the “Portable Light and Glare Measurement System”

This system is a portable and rugged solution for field applications offering real-time glare and light measurement and display, utilizing multiple-sensors for precise measurements. It also features wireless connectivity for data transfer, advanced data analysis capabilities, and data logging for storing and analysing measurement data. Its design allows for use in various environments and industries, making it an ideal tool for professionals who need to measure and analyse glare and light levels on-the-go.

CSIR-CRRI seeks EOIs From the registered Indian Firms / Industries / government agencies with:

• Experience in research and development, testing, and deployment of similar technologies/services
• Ability to integrate and deploy devices in various environments
• Strong technical support and maintenance capabilities
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting

Selection and Next Steps

All received EOIs will be evaluated, and shortlisted firms will be invited for discussions regarding licensing modalities, supply capacity, and technical collaboration. Final selection shall be at the discretion of the Director, CSIR-CRRI, based on techno-commercial viability and relevance.

Financial arrangements and technology transfer agreements will be finalized with the selected firms.
