CSIR-CRRI has signed MoU with Bengal Engineering and Science University (BESUS), Shibpur, West Bengal on 16th December 2013

The purpose of this MoU is to create a framework for collaboration between CSIR-CRRI and CED-BESU with the objectives as given below:
Both CSIR-CRRI and CED-BESU shall encourage interaction between the Scientists, Research Fellows, Faculty members and students of both the organizations through the following arrangements:

1. Exchange of personnel through deputation as per the rules of the respective institute, for limited periods as mutually agreed upon.
2. Organization of joint conferences and seminars.
3. Practical training of CED-BESU students at CSIR-CRRI.
4. Joint guidance of student project/thesis at CED-BESU by CSIR-CRRI on mutually agreeable terms.
5. Undertaking joint sponsored research and consultancy assignments offered  by governments/public sector organizations  through a mutually agreed upon terms and conditions.
6. Undertaking capacity build up training programmes for various clients in the area of specialization of the two institutes  based upon mutually agreed terms and conditions.
