CSIR-CRRI has signed an MoU with BTRA (Bombay Textile Research Association) at Mumbai on 22 May 2013

The broad objectives and terms and conditions of the MoU are as follows:

• To establish close linkage and functional coordination between CSIR-CRRI and BTRA.
• To work collectively for the sector in Geosynthetic particularly Geotextiles for road and transportation sector.
• Mutual sharing of resources to accelerate the use of geotextiles in road construction and maintenance including usage of library at both the end.
• Submission of the joint proposals to MORTH/NRRDA on comprehensive evaluation of geotextiles.
